Yay for Boris and Lisa <3 When I drew that, I was still trying to come up with Lisa's character, thus explaining the various facial piercings. I discarded them and opted instead for a sweeter, less hard-core type of character XD

I use artweaver :3
First I open a pretty big pallet thing, and past all of the images I want on different layers, then mark all the layers as invisible, and one by one arrange them how I want them. If/when I run out of space, I go to the 'image' tab and select 'canvase' size and make it bigger.
I dunno if it's the same options with photoshop, but that's how Artweaver works.
