this is one of my submissions for the newest chapter of raster , some of you will not like it, some of you will. the jagged, harshness is intentional.i recommend everyone go take a look at the newest chapter it has a wide variety of styles, and its simply fantastic

Love the detail... wish it was LARGER!!! But, I'm a fan of ultra huge pieces. This screams of human mechanics. The red blood, gears in the backdrop mixed with the feathing explosions... It would be quite intruiging to see the human flesh idea a bit more... It teases it with the gray structure in the left side... almost where that swastika looking symbol could rest where the armpit is. Modernesque 1984 with guns and blood structuring. Fabulo.
I must go research the rest myself...

Not like your usual style, that's for sure. The use of solid, flat color is interesting. It almost looks like you tried to render something complex on my Compaq (a 450 MHz Celeron with 4 MB of onboard video memory). Haha.

Yeah, it does remind me of russian posters, and that button thing in the top left corner reminds me of a swastika at first glance everytime I see it. I think that the work is great, and I like the contrsast. I'll have to go look at the rest of the chapter stuff now.

i don't see a reason why anyone wouldn't like this one to go along with your other pieces. it's good to see artists experimenting in other, new styles .. that's what makes this so great - the way it experiments with jaggies and abstract and even color as well. (red is always spunky to glance at in a piece.) i'm a major fan of the 2d work .. excellent!

how couldn't i like it, i love it.. the jagged edges and more solid colors are a welcome departure from your usual work, as well as the 2-d shapes in favor of your usual 3-d mastery

Heh, I guess I would be one of those who doesn't like it. I am not sure, the overall composition of shapes looks great but the whole piece doesn't seem to flow due to the colorscheme. I don't see any relation between the different layers of the piece .. that's what's putting me off I guess

Obviously, like some people will say. It's a little cluttered. But I love the idea behind it and if I dont focus my eye too much, it's a very pleasing picture. Great work.

really big change from what i've seen in most of your work, its very raw, you can feel its suppost to be untaimed. I like the colours sued and some of the 2d effects are nifty

Very cool. I like the combination of soft and hard lines. Haven't seen it done very well in the past, but you seem to have done a good job w/it all. Always nice to see you post.
