You should give credit to the original artist on these

Look, I loved Michael's work, and still do. Just about everything I draw is done to reflect Michaels style of art. I credit him for my wanting to draw anything comic related. I just feel many out there still want to see more of his work. Unfortunately he passed. So what I do is draw in his style as a tribute to him. For those who read this and don't know, I'm speaking of Michael Turner, a great artist, and even a greater human being.

Ur not drawing his style, ur just copying his work. It's totally different and u give him no credit for the original work. It's plain wrong to do. That's not "seeing more of his work", it's seeing someone else do his picture the exact same way. Several of my peers can draw like Turner (myself included) but we don't copy. It's TOTALLY different

I disagree. I've seen many try and draw like Michael, and fail to do so. I credit Michael Turner every time I throw something out there because those who like it are seeing the influence of Michael Turner. That is all this is. If you've seen my Kim Kardashian, Charlize Theron, or Punisher, or even my Joker with the 44mag, they have no influence from Michael at all. But I know people want more of Michaels style. Look, I appreciate you responding with your opinion, not an attitude. Okay, my Hulk in the city came from a photo from the movie, you can google it, it's there. But the lines of shadow are Turners style. That is not copying.

Of close to 30 pix 3-4 are not copied. It's not doing him justice if you don't say it's a replica of another artists work especially if that artist has passed away. If you'd say "Original art by Michael Turner (followed by link)" then it's acceptable but it looks wrong if u don't give credit.

I understand, and appreciate what you are saying. I am not trying to take anything from Michael, or his work. I give Michael Turner 100% full credit for anything I draw that is related to his work, or his style of work. There are many who are new to comic art, and aren't familiar with all the great artist. Do you remember Kuberts work on Wolverine90? That was some fantastic art! But many have never seen it. I honestly believe there are many people who would love more of Michaels work. Unforunately that can't happen, so I do what I can to give them that. That is all I'm doing.

All I'm saying is put a link to the original work and on the picture put the original art is by Mike.

Hmm... look, I honestly do appreciate what you have written me. I am always open to any opinion that is offered with respect, and clarity. You have been very respectful, and I thank you for that. But see, like you, I honestly believe people in our world, (the comic world) do know my reference is Michael Turner. I do this as a tribute to the man, period! Everybody knows it's obviously Michael's style as soon as they see it. But it isn't meant to hurt anything related to Michael. In fact, I kinda like how all this has people think of Michael a lot more than before I did this.

I'm just saying it needs to be said that it's his work. People who aren't into comics have no idea who Turner is. It does justice to his name and to him as an individual. My brother colors his work for practice and puts a link to the original and says it's Mike's. Just saying it'd be right to do
