Uhh, I feel kinda bad about posting this, since this was done really late at night with like... 1 crappy ref for the scar shape, and I didn't really put a lot (read: any) effort into making the anatomy good. :/ PLUS it was done in Photoshop, which I officially can't use. So don't be surprised if it gets scrapped.But nonetheless, my gallery was feeling lonely, so it needed more arts (and I should REALLY get around to commenting and responding, ugh).

I would say Cartoons; the producers wanted AtLA to emulate an anime, but it's made in America so it's really not.
Onto the drawing: Your painting and drawing technique is beautiful. I have a small critique, and that is that his neck seems a little too long and thin. BUT! The way you drew his scar and lips is absolutely amazing!

The anatomy isn't perfect but the colouring on Zuko's burn scar really make this image quite brilliant! Good work!

That is such a realistic picture of Zuko. That shows you're probably good at any characters. As another challenge you should do a Jin and Zuko picture. Great work.

I think it rocks. I love the stronge darks, very chiaroscuro. And I just thought
you should know that some of the most amazing artistic break-throughs happen
in the wee hours of the morning, both for me and other artist friends of mine, so
you are not alone. ^_^ Sometimes doing something so late makes it sloppy,
other times (like in yours) it simply makes the figure more gestural and
impressionistic, and gives a picture that "snaps shot" quality that is so cool.

Oooh, that scar scares me, which means it worked. Love all the tones and colors in the skin, especially the reds in the nose and lips, and your lineart is really damned lovely.

I don't know what you're talking about with the lineart: it's sloppy and rushed as always.
The scar and nose were a lot of fun to do, actually, and I was really surprised with how the scar came out. o_o;
