Oh man, I remeber this was one of the first pieces of art I've seen on Conceptart.org. I was so blown away by it, I even printed it and hung it on my wall as a future goal to hit haha

Robots & Slaves really?
Looks strangely to the announcement made by an archangel to a young woman from Nazareth...
I'm joking of course, no offense wanted to anybody... Very nice awesome job!

This vaguely reminds me of Edward Scissor Hands
Whats the story to this picture?

(Don't want to annoy you) In my opinion, the artist tries to show that technology and robots are becoming "humans" and will start viewing "humanity" as their slaves, since technology becomes more and more 'alive'. Where is the line between robots and humans?

i was thinking perhaps that temptation is an ugly thing, the reason for this is, if you look one f the girls seems to be offering something to the bot, the other seems to be missing her dress/skirt, and appears to be wearing a thong
But i see where your coming from, the world has such little thought other then to fall inline behind everyone elseΒ

I guess we'll never know. Maybe the artist made it like this on purpose, to have everyone take their own conclusions out of it? IDK, but it's beautiful

See! This is the art that generations are missing out on nowadays! Art that makes you think! Makes you question! Only the artist ever knows what the purpose was. I see that humanity, all our superstitions, religions, the things that make us human are being whipped in the arse by our new machines and technology. Science seems to be killing the imagination of people. Science is giving us answers, but in all, those answers can be ugly and knowledge comes with a painful cost and sort of perversity. My bias takes me one way, other people might think other ways. One day this will be in a museum! Just watch!Β

Brilliant point. Nowadays it's tits, tits, butts, butts, occasionally dicks, and no idea what art is about.

Yeah, religion and imagination are pretty much the same thing, I agree.

I totally agree with you on your comments about this art : it's simply amazing. The artist, Coro, here is painting a black part of human being, and under the first understandings we can see lot of things. For example, if it's true that deshumanysation is the leitmotiv of our era, it's also true that this make us transcend ourselves to a point never reached before. If what you said was true, then we could not find an art like that... but we found it, indeed. That prove that science can't kill imagination, and human is far more than it firstly appears.
Arts are great. That's why human is humanity.

And that's what makes us all still think that there is hope. Because there is. We just need more of it.

For some reason this picture has a kind of Dune ascetic. Just kind of the mix of religious imagery with sci-fi elements.

Dark but extremely interesting consept and art, the robot seems to have emotions and taken a liking and even respect to his worshipers, which is very different from what you could expect from a creature with such intimidating looks

I have to admit, the first thing I thought was, "why is the robot's house not built to his scale?" Β But I guess it is just the angle.
Great artwork, though! Β There is definitely a story behind this
