Here it is, the latest and greatest iteration of my favored hand cannon. I've been working on the design for years, some of my older watchers may remember a couple of my earlier attempts, but this is my favorite version so far. Double action only because of the internally housed hammer, or perhaps even semi-automatic (haven't decided yet). 6 o'clock configured as before. 6 shots of a cartridge I have dubbed ".42 custom" which is meant to be an intermediate rifle cartridge with a larger calibre projectile. It would be comparable to something like a .500 S&W magnum in terms of power, but with better velocity and penetration.

This thing is meant to be a beast of a pistol, near 14 inch overall length, heavy metal frame. Also, it has an integrated gas-actuated counterbalance over top of the barrel which is intended to fling forward in the housing quickly to help mitigate muzzle flip and felt recoil, and paired with a series of gas vents to act as a compensator. It'd be something you could hunt dangerous game with, but you'd definitely want a proper muzzle break on there as well.
