yea nice colors and manipulation in general. Just 1 thing: On the final result with the blue eyes, the reflecting light of the eyes has a slightly blue tone because the blue layer is on top of the original eye, that particular part has to be pure white because the color of the light reflected should be white no mater what the surface color is. Anyways, its just a minor bug so... just wanted to let you know that. Much apreciated tutorial though

yeah you are right, I should have been more careful with that, but this is an old tutorial, soon I have to make a better one with new extras D
and of course, I'll include the eye reflect thing
thanks

I like this one! Nice and simple, clear directions, but still has pretty dramatic effects. I've used it on a bunch of my close-up portraits and the results were fantastic on almost every one of them.

a question for number 3:
why are you adjusting yellows and reds, if the final photo is almost black and white?
π: 0 β©: 1
conceptions In reply to mayoofka [2008-05-07 20:31:59 +0000 UTC]
because, it removes the red and yellow after setting the levels and brightness/contrast.
and later, when I would like to set it close to black and white, it won't be redish and yellowish ( I hope I wrote it right)
