they don't, technically. it's up to interpretation. i prefer to draw the characters more akin to humans, but technically gems don't have any human reproductive organs unless they so choose to include them in their form.

It's definitely up to one's perspective. For instance, I don't think Pearl has any boobs but I'm pretty sure Rose had boobs. Since gems can shapeshift organs and outer appearances, it's hard to tell with that mind y'know? Especially since gems don't naturally have any of these things from a biological standpoint.

And either way, say someone viewing your art decides they want to imagine Pearl DOESN'T have breasts, I would imagine she would still wear a bikini, because she'll have been on earth long enough to understand society's stance on topless people with a cis-female body-shape.
