Deeply saturated/darkened image because I knew there was no way I'd get the colour on her body to stand out otherwise! Even while experimenting with the right colours, it was always going to not show up unless I dimmed it. Also... I've only recently drawn this... I actually have 3 other references for other characters that are either done or mostly done... I'm drawing references when I get motivated to do them but I'm going to submit them as chronologically if I can because I think that makes the most sense.

Mei is a sweet little Machop who has a tender love of flowers, and will often put at least one in her groves if she can. She also likes eating fish, which fortunately Julia doesn't mind. Mei, despite her physical strength, is a shy soul and unsure of herself at times, but also wants to help Runa and co. out anyway she can. Unlike the others, Mei does not know what her dream is and so the journey is her way of finding that out.

Mei is an average sized Machop, although her arms are a little thicker than average. We knew where her strength lies! Also the flower presented here is not the same flower that stuck with her doing her journey: feel free to draw her with different flowers in her hair ridges!
