My second submission for the Medieval project from .

I knew that knights and warriors were going to be very popular and I wanted to do one myself. However, I wanted to pick a weapon that I don't think most would go for. Then I remembered one of my favourite book series: Redwall. For those who don't know, the series by Brian Jacques focuses on a group of woodland creatures that defend themselves from predators, who are the villains for the most part, in a medieval setting (mostly an abbey called, of course, Redwall). I highly recommend the series and the good news is you can start anywhere, not necessarily the first one!

Anyway, one of the races on the good side are otters, and they usually fight with javelins or slings and stones. I chose the latter, choose Dewott (because I forgot about Floatzel...) and being inspired by the cover for High Rhulain, drew this guy. Originally the shell was going to be a stone but I changed my mind. I am super happy with how this came out, especially as clothing isn't my forte. Now I can imagine the Dewott screaming 'Redwalllllllll!' or 'Holt Lutraaaaaaa!' or something similar.
