My last submission for . My wrist hurt most with going over the lines and colouring, but it could have been really bad. I might draw in future, but certainly going to keep it easy and not do much in terms of art for a while. Only if I feel really good in the wrist and can give it sufficent rest will I be doing art... I miss drawing so much...

Anyway, Calumon became my pick for the Digimon entry for the Witchmon Halloween collab, joining the other Calumon. Now Calumon is not one I was familiar with (because I only watched the first two seasons of Digimon as a child, the ones with the initial cast and then the one with TK and Kari as teens, and I don't remember Calumon popping up but could be wrong!) but I basically searched on the internet 'cute Digimon' and this was one of the most popular. I thought 'I have to draw this'!

As for design, I had so many ideas: Calumon over a cauldron, Calumon swamped by a large witch's hat, Calumon flicking through a spell book. In the end though I noticed, at least so far with the other designs, there's not too much in the way of book wielding or ingredient giving wizards and witches, so I did both! Calumon has a spell book and eyes of newt, a classic staple of witchcraft. In fact, eye of newt is mustard seed. Yep, not so gross now.
