If Sassafrass looks anything like the makeup you designed for her, she will be drop dead gorgeous! And it will become even harder to resist the urge to spend all my money (and more) for a trip to the states to be able to attend FC...

It's funny...at this point there is nothing more to her. I don't even own that wig anymore...but I imagine she would be fun to make someday. Now I have 4 Cats I want to make. *facepalm*

You sold the wig? But why? Now you just need to make a new one!
And don't worry about having many cats to make. I have two half-painted and one blank unitard lying around and I am nowhere near to finding the time to actually finish them. Pounzer and Vladdi have been incredibly patient with me so far.
I do have a list of three cats I still want to make: Rumple (in the works), Demeter and Tantomile. Although I would love commissioning different people for pieces as well. I am actually thinking about selling Bomba to be able to commission things. But so far, I haven't had the heart to sell her.
I'd love to meet you, too. You're in CA, right? I used to live in Oregon, but that was before I got into Cats. Otherwise, meeting up might have been a bit easier. Bad timing. But who knows. Maybe I'll be able to visit the US again sometime in the future. There still are a few National Parks that I haven't been to yet.

The wig actually was made by Spazzy/Jen, and though it was super beautiful, it didn't quite fit me correctly. I sold it to a smaller costumer who absolutely loved it. I thought he could use it more than I could, and let it go.
I've got plans...hopefully for next FC I'll ahve repainted Shamira's body, and maybe made Sassafrass. We'll see how it goes.

Are you repainting Shamira on a blank unitard or are you going over the existing one with another layer of paint?
And please do make Sassafrass! I loved the makeup and I'm sure you'll come up with a great costume design to go with it!

She'll be starting out blank once more. I'll be repatterning her so she actually fits correctly, and will be using milliskin this time instead of moleskin.
Sassafrass will show up one day, I'm sure of it!

The costume was a rather time-consuming project. It is made from a blank turtle neck unitard (to be ordered at a dance store or ebay), fabric paint, some wool for the tail and wig and warmers by yarndog ([link] )
