This weekend, a switch flipped in me. I've handled so much crap, so much responsibility for so long. I've hurt myself for the happiness of other people. I'm in therapy for it, and I'm slowly getting better.Friday last week, I logged into Netflix to discover that they've put Rick and Morty back on there. I've no idea what happened, but something in me snapped. I stopped giving a shit. I stopped caring. I felt like I could sit there and watch a cartoon guilt-free, and do nothing else except for lose myself in characters I love. I guess Rick's 'I don't give a shit' attitude resonated with me, because I literally don't want to have the responsibility I've shouldered for so long. I'm done with it. I wanna go out there and explore the world and do me.
I'm insanely proud of this. This is by far the best piece of art I think I've produced to date. This is what I feel good doing. This is what I want to do... and I don't want to feel bad about it. Even if it did take me 6 hours, more or less. I'm in love with it.
