When and how did you get started in Cosplay?
My Dad got me into anime when I was a kid. He supports me on buying anime stuff. I grew up with a lot of friends who also loves anime. It was year 2011 when I first saw people in cosplay in an event near our place. At that moment, I told to myself that one day, I would be able wear costumes that I really wanted to portray.
What was your first Cosplay?
Reverie Metherlence of Elemental Gelade.
What was the most difficult character?
Its Celestia Ludenberg of Danganronpa. My head hurts because of my wig's wefts. They were heavy and bulky. I have to be very careful when walking to avoid accidently hitting people with my wig. Aside from that, it also hard to walk in a convention for a day with my ill fitting shoes.
What characters are you planning and type of character are you drawn to?
I plan to cosplay Sakura Kinomoto (clear card 1st opening version), Violet Evergarden, Futaba Sakura, Rei Ayanami and a lot more for this year. I tend to cosplay characters that is similar to my looks or character. Someone who is easier for me to portray.
What is your process when starting from the beginning with a new cosplay?
I usually watch the series or the movie of the anime that I wish to portray. If its from a game, I watch playthroughs on the internet, since I rarely have time to finish or complete a game. I also look for different brands of wig, contact lenses and sets of costumes that would match the character, and also, if the set would fit into my budget. I usually style my own wig. I always try my best to make the costume looks perfect for the character that I'll portray.
Are there any helpful hints in sewing, costume design or any other aspects of your cosplay that you discovered in doing your creations?
After a year of doing cosplay, I learned a lot starting to my make up, styling and fixing wigs, making props, adjusting costumes, search good online shops, organizing photoshoots and cosplay group, up to how to make earning from this hobby. I am really grateful that I gained a lot of confidence and made a lot friends that enjoy this passion.
Do you have a preferred brand of makeup in your cosplay? And if so why?
I have tried multiple brands of make ups, but most of them didn't fit well in my skin, until I found the brand Etude House. Etude became my preferred makeup brand.
What are you listening to? 80's rock songs, 90's alternative rock, classical music, J-Pop, Anime songs and songs from the band, SCANDAL.
Favorite Movies?
3 Idiots (Indian Movie), Crazy Little Thing called love (Thai movie), Secret (Taiwanese movie), Windstuck, & Sassy Girl (Korean movie). Miss Granny (Filipino movie). I really really love Asian movies.

Cardcaptor Sakura, Elemental Gelade, Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge, Kimi Ni Todoke, DN Angel & The Prince of Tennis.
Favorite TV Shows?
Lie to Me (American Series).
Is there a scene from a anime, cartoon, movie or tv show that left a big impression on you and what was it?
Its the movie, 3 Idiots. It left me a big impression and influenced me on a lot of things. I can relate it on my life as an Engineering student and how me and my friends, helped each other in order to pass the exams and finish our course.
