I wouldn't sell an original idea for less than $2, and considering that 200 are equal to $2.50, I think it's fair o:

It's not that original of an idea though, it's a Sonic fancharacter, who is a hedgehog, with simple clothing. If you'd come up with some more details like a character description for it, maybe. But either way, I can't put all the blame on you; you start out with it priced way too high, but the people who bid on these are dumb enough to put out like $25 worth.

I'm not talking about only the character itself, but the time I wasted making it look decent so people can actually buy it
And detailed characters aren't always the best since Sonic official characters are always so simple, I don't want to get lost in the stereotypes the Sonic fandom creates about too much detailed characters
And yes, I wouldn't waste that much of money with an adoption, but I'd say something around $10 is still worth

I mean not that original as in you see that basic type of design all over the place, anyone who really wanted it could come up with something similar for themselves for free.
And yeah, "detailed" was the wrong choice of words, I just mean that a character design like this one is a dime a dozen, it doesn't seem like anything new in this fandom, which is why I say anyone who wanted to could come up with something similar.

Some people have more difficulty when it comes to create anything they imagine
and when they do, they don't seem to like their own idea, that's why they adopt
I like to believe in this, I do know they can come up with something by themselves
But it's their choice, to create or to buy
And particularly, for some, buying is easier than creating

Well yeah, buying is always easier than creating. It's easier to buy a fully made cake than to build one from scratch, it's easier to buy a car than to build a car, etc. But going with the cake example, I personally would feel more satisfied if I had made the cake myself than if I'd just bought it.
And I'm not saying you can't do this, you have every right to overcharge people for a character design, I'm just saiyan that people who would pay up to $13 for this... need help.
At least you didn't use a dollmaker though, I've seen a lot of people do that and put them up for adoption.

Adoptions ARE retarded.
And yeah, you can enjoy a cake someone else made, but eating a cake you made yourself is more satisfying because you know you made it. In addition to the enjoyment of having the cake, you get the satisfaction that comes from making the cake.
$13 is enough to feed a person for a week, I've actually prettymuch lived on that kinda budget before. It's not a lot of money, no, but it could have been spent much more wisely elsewhere is the point I'm trying to make.
