Description I painted this for ~rroyaaal 's birthday card~ C: She's 16 today!

So, because Annie is awesome she likes awesome things such as Space Invaders <3 And I was in a crazy colours mood, so made it all rainbow


...I was really puzzled over the categories, and then remembered that Space Invaders is a game... so it's fanart (MAKES A CHANGE... Do I ever do anything original? xD)


Although I do usually get carried away with watercolours, I've never really used them this crazily before... What do you think? Too many colours? X3

The colors are perfect. This is amazing. I don't think I've played the game, but I don't care, this is just so fantastical! I feel like splashing paint on stuff now. You do it so artistically, it looks so well put together. I could never do something like this. I hear masking fluid is hard to work with, so that alone is incredible. I am typing super fast. I cannot stop raving about this. Geez girl this is awesome. Good job. Amazing. Woo. Alright, I'm too hyper. I'll shut up now.

I have an arcade game on my gameboy, and I think Space Invaders was on that. But otherwise, I haven't played it much either! I just love how retro and pixel-y it is... it's up there with Pacman
You must go and splash paint!! It's so much fun; I love it so much <33 Especially blowing it with a straw - that's my favourite effect. C: And masking fluid will be the death of me~ D: The first piece I made with masking fluid was awful and the paper ripped. ;A; I've learned to let the paint around the fluid dry also before removing the masking fluid, and to be very careful But I guess I could also try another type of paper!~

Ooh, that sounds amazing. Maybe I will do that soon. It'll be a summer goal.. To do some paint blowing.
