This is the first time I've ever gone back and 'fixed' one of my pics. Not long ago, nikoskap.deviantart.com suggested this could benefit from inking and funnily enough, I was thinking the same thing - I'm fairly proud of all the detail that went into this pic and was gutted when so much was lost because of my choice to go with very soft pencils. The colour still looks washed out but hopefully this is better than the pencil version.For anyone who didn't see the first version, this is the Warriors Three, Sif and Hildegarde versus everyone else in Asgard yadda yadda. Thor's off on Midgard, Odin's having a kip and Balder's looking at these guys and shaking his head, muttering "Kids these days..."

Thor's always been my favourite Marvel hero and I love that the Asgardians enjoy a good scrap. They're like Conan on steroids!

I loved his design as a kid, heβs a bit more 3D than most baddies, not necessarily a straightforward villain and his mix of power and stupidity means he can be used against a wide range of guys ... Cap beat him but heβs also done well against the Hulk

I couldn't commit to anything right now. I just quit the gym because I couldn't afford it but when I get some money together, I'll be rejoining - I've found in the past that I only have time for one hobby at a time! I've got two kids and drive 110 miles round trip every day for work.
So, no plans for me to start drawing seriously again anytime soon, I'm afraid!

Thanks a lot! Like I said in the description for the original, I thought the background needed much more colour and I didn't want to draw yet another simple starscape, so the Rainbow Bridge sounded like a good plan!

This must have taken forever to do Nick! Well worth the time and effort you must have put into it. I've just sent the last five minutes blowing it up on screen to scroll around it all properly. Awesome..

Thanks a lot, matey! It was a painful process because the pencil sketches were really detailed and I lost a lot of that by choosing to use a 6B pencil and then colouring it. The whole thing ended up looking muddy and it was hard to see what was going on. Inking has at least the figures clearer but I wish the colours were brighter and TBH the background needs real work. I tend to end up falling back on mountain scapes and stars when I don't have a clear idea for a background! I'm really glad I bunged the rainbow bridge in there though, it was a last minute decision but I think it really helped.
