However, there is NOTHING to be ashamed of being on benefits for the people who are. What are jobless people suppose to do? There are no jobs available. Do you suggest they starve?

Just because I am against your hypocrisy doesn't mean I am for Obama. Everyone who doesn't think Obama is a communist, fascist, Evil, Satanist, Atheist, Muslim Kenyan who wants to destroy America isn't automatically suggesting that he is a successful president. There is a middle ground. Obama has not kept his promise to create jobs. However he has so far done a better job than past presidents such as Reagan who increased unemployment from 7% at the start of his presidency to a staggering 11% at the end of it. Oh that's right, he's a God fearing white republican, so it's not his fault.
There are jobs huh? Yeah, go down to the nearest trailer park and tell people there that they are lazy and that there are plenty of jobs and that they just need to find them. Do you really think that when unemployment is high, people are " just being too lazy to work?" What a shelters misshapen view of the world that it. When unemployment is high it's because there are not enough jobs to go around.

So you suggest we just stop benefits? Millions will be made redundant and homeless. You are under the pretence that all, or most, people on benefits sit on their asses and make up disabilities to scrounge of the government. This is just not true. People who apply for social security can't just make up some crap and then get a pay check as you seem to suggest. They must be diagnosed and then receive regular check-ups to see if they are still unfit for work. If it wasn't for disability benefits we would have an influx of a homeless population in the millions. People who physically cannot work would have no income and be made homeless. A large number of this would be soldiers with PTSD who receive benefits because they cannot work due to their mental illness. Do you suggest we leave them without an income and make them homeless? What about people with schizophrenia or other serious mental health problems? Do we really want a high population of mentally ill homeless people? Because that's what will happen if we but disability benefits to the extent you are suggesting. You always hear about benefit fraud but what about tax evasion? You have no posts about that. Shouldn't that be counted as scrounging seeing as how tax evaders are keeping government money? Why no out-cry about the high levels of tax evasion in America which results in a low of revenue in the billions?
The 92 million who are not working are not all sitting on their asses smoking pot as has been fed to you by fox news. What of the huge amount of people who want to work but can't find it? Do they deserve to be made homeless? Despite what you might think evidence shows us that the majority of those on benefits do indeed actively look for work. However, businesses added just 74,000 new jobs last December and job growth is clearly sluggish at best and certainly not growing at a sufficient rate for the 6.7% of unemployed Americans to all get work. There are three unemployed people for every job opening and yet you're going to try to bullshit me into believing that there are enough jobs for everybody and people just need to look hard enough?

The thing is, everyone isn't going to stop working. I know that you think that the majority of people who are on benefits smoke pot and have the time of their lives but the vast majority of people on welfare do want to work. On benefits you have no money for luxuries and most people don't like being out of work and having nothing to do. Like I said, it's hard to find with three people for every one job opening. Shouldn't our bloated military go first. Do you not agree that having a military budget of $695.7 billion is just a little extensive? The US military's budget is bigger than the other top ten biggest military powers combined.

The military budget is higher than the other top ten budgets of the most militaristic counties combined. You think this isn't a problem? You think that spending trillions of military operations that then ultimately fail is okay?
Hey, if you're rather have a county full of uninformed idiots and soldiers with PTSD than a county of scientists, engineers and intelligent, well informed people then that's fine. After all, the United States may not be first in healthcare, well-being, advances in medicine, advances in engineering, cancer survival rates or employment but we sure do come first in the highest prison population rates as well as the country that commits the most drone strikes . USA! USA! USA!!
Who wants to be a country with the most engineers, doctors or scientists when we can be the country with the most soldiers with PTSD?

I really only harass Conservatoon, not because he is a Conservative, but because he is an insult to Conservatives. His jokes are not funny, nor do they even attack Liberals except in a very vague way, his ideas sound more like something he came up with when he smoked pot, and makes other Conservatives look like morons. Heck sometimes his cartoons actually insult Conservatives more than they do Liberals, like the one where a mother and father actually say that they would rather have their son be gay than be a Liberal. Now I have no problem with gay people, but still that makes the parents look like a couple of jerks who can't accept their child actually has opinions that differ from their's.
