I've been meaning to take this for a while and I finally got to it.this tree has been in the horsefield behind myself for as long as I can remember. during the hurricanes this year it was torn in half, leaving half of it dead and half of it alive.

thats fantastic man, great composition, youve made sure to fill up the whole photo insted of just doing what its tempting to do, and keep it low with plenty of sky in. Interesting and made all the better in b&w.

yeah, I'm pretty happy with the way it came out.
I have another one that's even closer. it has no sky or grass in it. I just didnt like it as much. I think the tiny bit of sky in the corner and little bit of grass in the foreground made this one for me.
I might submit the other though so look out for it.

aww man...i love trees. When I was little all the kids on my block would play in one...it looked similar to that.

hehe. But it still looks like one...but it's amazing. Like going into the middle of a forest and see how trees just cling together and wrap themselfs in odd shapes..
