Description
Started out in pencil, inked with Micron pens and their Graphic pen line. I originally wanted to make it Ghost Rider vs Spawn but I was having trouble with the composition and the posing. So instead I resorted to this.This was fun to draw, ink, and color nonetheless. Ghost Rider has always been a favorite of mine, if I didn't have trouble drawing skulls I'd probably have more pictures of him up here. The flames were originally covering the whole face, I was inspired by a GR comic that I recently borrowed from the library to manipulate the flames to show his skull.

ghost rider is a neat concept but i just can't see spawn losing to that guy.

Well, in a way I can. Ghost Rider, depending on which version, could use his/her Penance Stare on Spawn. Since Spawn still has a soul then it would work. Spawn would have one hell of a tough time trying to Kill Ghost Rider just because their powers are very similar (Though Ghost Rider's Powers are angelic whereas Spawn's is demonic).

his powers are angelic?...i don't know anything about ghost rider so it's hard for me to say much but i thought his powers were all granted by the devil?

Nope. They still say his powers are demonic but it was revealed in a certain comic of Ghost Rider that the powers were angelic. In the beginning Johnny Blaze sold his soul to the devil to save Crash Simpson, Simpson is cured but he dies on a motorbike stunt. Later the Devil comes to collect Johnny and Roxanne interrupted him. The demon Zarathos whos is the one that gives Johnny and Daniel Ketch (the second Ghost Rider)their powers, was revealed to be the Angel of Death and not truly a demon.

....huh. didnt know an angel of death had power granting capabilities....but then why would the devil come to collect?..since he had nothing to do with their powers?

Johnny Blaze made a deal with the devil, sold his soul to save someone, so the Devil came to collect. The devil was going to make Johnny into his Ghost Rider/Slave but Roxanne stopped the process, so Zarathos the demon inside Johnny was able to still bond. Eh, it's a twisted and confusing story.

Actually, let me fix that, Zarathos was Johnny Blazes "demon" whereas Ketch had the Angel of Death as his.
