Description
Red Ranger re-imagined armored suit. The suits always had metallic clangs or sounds whenever they were hit so I made the suit much more armored.Related content

This-this is nigh perfect. It really is. I'd only change ONE thing about the design itself and add a bit of color here or there.
That being the morpher/buckle-which the armor has a segment for, right above his codpiece, and color that armor segment, and the two right next to it, white-it looks like it should be.
And MAYBE make the neck white. I'd want to see that first though. The texture is a little odd, but eh, what to do. It kind of looks like, with that area of the armor I pointed out, and the segment connecting the feet that's just at the edge of the bottom, that it's a little unfinished-unpainted. A bit more color and the inclusion of the morpher would really help the impact a lot.

Happy to help.
And, yeah, the morpher does make more sense hidden away.

It was never meant to be a finished painting really. A friend of mine is actually going to do a full sculpt of this. But thank you for the critique ^^
The Morpher/Buckle I left out of that segment because I put the T-Rex symbol on his chest. I had an idea that if I made a re-imagined show of the original MMPR, instead of the Morphers being so easy to steal the ones on their chests would be duds and the real one's were hidden.
I can see where you are coming from, looking at the color placement. Now that you mention it, if I wanted I could probably just add white to the Adams Apple segments of the neck piece. It was all created in a way that it'd make sense if I actually made a fan re-imagined version of the show.
So thank you for your critique again

Thanks! I've been playing around with some new design ideas recently so I may post those soon! You can always check out my facebook page too! It has a lot of art that I don't post here as it's easier to post pics from phone to facebook. You can also check out my art tumblr as I also post things there more often!

Freaking cool. Also, the helmet looks very badass.

Thanks! I wanted the helmet to look cool and still have elements of the original without making him seem like he has a bobble head. I also did the mouth in such a way that it didn't have the puffy lips the originals did and it looked more fit to Jason/Red Ranger's face.
