Color/Patterns: Styx is a lovely copper roan blend of the Schnauzer and Australian Shepherd’s peppered fur type, as well as the Siberian husky’s smoky highlights. She’s fitted with two fore-stockings followed by two hind mittens. Styx as well has a pair or rather stunning emerald irises to suit her unique bled of a coat.
Body Structure/Particular features: Although Styx has kept a thin build while staying at the Dagsworth, as she ages her body is beginning to alter. Due to having so many breeds intertwine into her DNA, she's very prone to certain medical problems. However, this being said, she is still very young and has a lot of life left in her. Styx has rather buff shoulders, thinning out down her flanks and ending with quick, elastic mannered legs. Due to her agile form, She can move quickly on her paws and clear high heights. Styx's head is very narrow, matched with rather sharp and strong canines. Followed by her head is a sturdy jaw and a rather heavy bite.

Personality: Styx is a rather complicated member, her mind is almost always a mess, and tends to be quite ruthless when it comes near the bitter end. She finds it difficult to relax or tolerate stupidity, meaning playing innocent would only piss her off even more if she was already cross with you. However, Styx is definitely a dog you want on your team. Though she usually picks favourites and poorly judges those around her, Styx usually has the potential to pick out what matters most about each and every dog. Some say she was a natural-born survivor because Styx will remove anything or anyone in her path stopping her from success. Styx can get rather possessive, this isn’t because she’s trying to be rude, but because she has a very hard time letting go of those who actually happen to bond closely with her. Though solid as diamond on the outside, she’s practically mush on the inside. Styx is one to think critically of almost anything, often taking ‘issues’ the wrong way, because of this, Styx is prone to get angry, or moody very quickly. While in one of these moods, it’s best to either be careful or stay clear of her. Styx may resort to violence if angered enough despite her friendly genetics. Aside from her anger-driven side, Styx tends to be very sarcastic. In fact, she often gets so specific, it may sound like she's telling the truth.

Strength:

    ·         Styx is strong minded if she has a goal she’s determined to complete. It’s do or die.

    ·         Styx is a very honest member. Brutally honest to be exact. She says what needs to be said, no matter how much others may dislike it. It drives her nuts when she catches another canine telling empty tales.

    ·         Styx is a very reserved female. She only bonds with those she thinks deserves her company. However, though this seems like a negative, her judgement often prevents scraps within groups of comrades. Therefore, her friend circle must be tightly knit.

    ·         Styx is unbelievably courageous. Though some may say her bravery is a death threat, she takes it as a compliment, stating in some way that she honestly is not endangering herself, or that she knows what she’s doing.

    ·         Styx’s lean body and lightweight makes it very easy to move about and change direction within milliseconds.

    ·         Despite her light weighted frame, Styx thankfully inherited her military ancestor’s vicious bite. Once she latches on, good luck getting her off.

·         Styx herself may hate liars with a passion, however when it comes down to it, she usually can easily manipulate those she needs to. Whether it be lies, or the brutal, dark truth. She'll use it against you.

However, she had never quite gotten the hang of getting along with other canines. She’d constantly bark and snap at the dogs in line in front of her, usually being disqualified for violence, or being way too loud for the judge’s interest. Her first owner had major troubles attempting to control the 2-year-old pup, she’d resort violently shaking or baring her teeth at anyone who ever tried to stop her.

Styx was soon sold for minor cash due to her first owner’s loss of interest, to a lady in her mid 30’s. Styx still grew more and more hostile the more the lady had called in vets, Emergency departments, Animal Shelters and so on to take care of the canine’s vicious attitude. If she wasn’t gong to trust Styx, then Styx couldn’t trust her. Not that she would anyways because she didn’t actually know much about the smoky dun canine before she had bought her for around $75.00. All she knew was that she was supposedly only going to the right home and she thought she could provide that. However, part of the reason was also because of the cheap price.

The lady agreed with a friend of hers that the mutt just wasn’t the one for her. However, returning her to her original was not an option and giving her to any shelters were beyond her options. Styx had gained a negative reputation as time went on and she got older. The vets had been bitten several times, and the emergency services could not calm her down whenever they came to solve an issue. The lass had already earned herself 2 strikes on her record.

So the lady did what seemed the most realistic to her, she had tied Styx to a pipe sealed to the side of an apartment and placed a box not too far off reading ‘Free Dog, Take At Own Risk.’ And So she lay there, picking up whatever scraps were tossed to her. Processing passer-by stares, cold eyes of misery.

About a week had passed when she had actually been approached. A young man looking to be in his mid 20’s. She had been very cautious, however he treated her like she was an old friend. Carefully untying her from the pipe connected to the apartment wall. He took her home, and she lived contently for about a year until the man had found a girlfriend who already had a son. Being your average child, he’d often throw solid toys at her and pull her ears. However, Styx behaved for the 20-year old’s sake.

That was until her behavior had slipped and she had snapped at the offending child out of her own defense. The man’s soon-to-be wife did not like this one bit and claimed she would take him to court if he didn’t get rid of the dog. The man refused and gladly went to court in order to keep his dog. Unfortunately, he had lost due to Styx’s bad reputation with almost every offered service in that town. So rather than putting the pretty mutt down, he had released her into a near by forest before they could come to get her.

Styx sprinted off into the dense forest of pines and oaks, never to be seen again by the folks of the small town. Styx traveled for days until coming across yet another city. What life awaits Styx?
