Akina holds the title of Tai'Sett, which, for her, is a remarkable achievement.

Not only is she the youngest Tai'Sett in the known history of the Foxxen, but she's also the first known female Tai'Sett since the pre-ice age. She got there only because her father was previously the Tai'Sett, and without any male heirs, she wound up with the head position of the Windwatch tribe.

Some hold it against her, but most find the years she spent as Tai'Sett have been the most prosperous; it is rare the tribe goes hungry anymore, and their territory has gone undisturbed for nearly 15 years thanks to her indecisive decision making skills in regards to defense.
Older members of the tribe still feel she breaks too many traditions, such as changing the traditional Tai'Sett garb.
Her position has forced her to mature before her time, however, and she wavers in private from time to time...

Weapon: Her own personal sword, also violating the traditions of the Tai'Sett, as a tribeleader generally uses a katana that would have been passed down to her upon her leadership. It is a big sword, which she uses to perform feats that make her formidable in battle.

Special Technique: If it's one tradition she does keep up on, she does keep up on knowledge from the old histories, and knows a basic level of ancient magic. Even still, the knowledge she posesses is an art lost to the generations, so only other Tai'Setts would know of it now.
