I'm considered a massive hipster by my friends. But mostly just cause I like a lot of things that are stareotypically hipster... Not that I particularly act like it.

Well I didn't write it in a negative way. Personally, I love hipster shots most of the time. So from me, it's a compliment. Really, about all of my comments to you are aimed as compliments.

SEE! You can do it. This is perfect. You surpassed me with this on taking simple photos. Seriously. Especially the colors in this are perfect, so tender and beautiful ... how did you get them this way?

Aww but this was already set up for me! I went to a heritage
park and took a couple photos (not too many because it was
really dark in the houses and all the best vintage stuff was
blocked off by a rope. 
get a nice angle. Thank-you so much. Umm I don't quite remember
but I'm pretty sure I primarily used colour balance. But now I
still have to master it with people. *sigh*

One last question I have, how did you get that to look so vintage, yet natural and plain? Whenever I try to add a vintage feel to my image, there is barely any contrast. Like on [link]

I figured.
Some of the contrast can be added in colour balance using shadows. :]
That's how I achieved it in this one without using too much curves.

I think is the light mixed with dark shadows that really makes me like this.
