Description
Originally the shoot was going to be something much more magnificent than this but it wasn't going to work out, I'm not smart enough, so it was kind of improvised.Isn't she unearthly beautiful?

I know, unfortunately with that lens it'll
look like it's in focus through the eye piece...
but it won't be. That was the only image
that clearly focused.

That sounds a problem on the camera then... Check the eye piece and there might be a focus up there, because that's what's happened to me before. Usually it happens when people wear glasses (I don't) or if it gets bumped out of focus.
Just a thought. Might not be the problem at all.

I think it's just me, because with my shoot with Jackson
and this one I primarily used the manual focus 50mm,
but lately it seems with portraits I fail at telling when it's
properly focused.
I'm trying to think of what you mean, but I can't seem to picture it.
I don't wear glasses either though.

Hmmm possibly yes. Auto focus DOES do wonders sometimes ;D
