From what I gathered, it's a technique/style which makes you try to draw something legible (if that makes sense) as fast as you can with keeping as many details as possible. Usually, they never take more than 2 hours, and can be as fast as 5 minutes, and they're generally referenced from another picture. It's a way to help you improve with shading and learning how to make mistakes into new possibilities.

I've always loved the brush style. You can duplicate it by changing your pen pressure to change color opacity as well as size. I'm hoping that by doing a lot of these, I can improve with shading and stuff. Moo should try some too! Mine look like messy scribbles, but I'm hoping soon they look pretty ba. d:
