Description
In this battle report my orcs fight against the dwarves under the command of one of my best friends. Both armies I have collected and painted. Since I'm not done with the dwarves yet, my friend had to use a lot of proxies - like Negan, Ponies etc. ...
The system that we play is Kings of War. We randomly rolled the dice for the scenario and it came out "Invasion". The goal of the scenario is to invade the enemy's territory. This suits my attack-minded orcs - not so much the more defense-oriented dwarves....

His dwarf general is called Schneewittchen and she's a sexy warrior princess, my orc general is the despicable Borok, whose story you can read in the comics of my profile.

Turn 1:
The ground shook with the thunder of thousands of boots as the orc army moved to bridge the distance between themselves and the dwarves as quickly as possible.
The wolf riders and boar riders on the right flank formed the assault's stormtroop and rushed ahead. War drums made the surroundings tremble.
Undeterred and with iron discipline, the dwarves aim their cannons and rifles at the onrushing cavalry and literally unleash hell on them.
But to the astonishment of the dwarves, the Orcish cavalry sweeps onward, completely unimpressed by the heavy losses. They have not been slowed down one bit and are already in attack range even before there is a chance to fire a second volley.Grimly, the dwarves prepare for the inevitable clash... (to be continued)
