About the shading: Maybe you could put more grays and darks within the loops/curls (sorry for my english...) and put some shadows too on the internal face of her left group of curls, just between her face. And... the right group is a little bit dark for me! Wow... hope I explained well

I think I get what you mean, it's a WIP right now but there's still a long way to go on it. I was thinking about just doing the hair like that for the shading. What do you mean by the right group?
