Okay I've been seeing some very nice drawings in Like :

Showing what their gems may have looked like before Harmony's rule and I wanted to kind of design and show what I think My gems may have looked like in the court before the rebellion and before Rose Gold decided to have a child. So here is all my gems!

Okay now here comes the part where I take about my gem's stories so buckle up if you are ready to read!

Turquoise:

During the sketching phase, I was having a particularly hard time drawing his pose/ body and I see now is that in Quoise's app. you can't see his upper for arms and when I was once again sketching him and trying to think of how he might like look before that I realized that he had extremely long arms and legs compared to his head and waist which are short in comparison so in order to make him look nice and not uncanny I had to do the same thing I did in his app and make him have a very poofy outline. Thats all on that just something I noticed. About his story before the Harmony Era, Turquoise surprisingly wasn't as narcissistic as he was today (although he wasn't exactly all that humble ether so I mean take that how you will) He had a genuine respect for Rose Gold since she was a diamond he saw her as a perfect ruler, since Diamonds are in fact made to rule over their court. He thought she could do no wrong and was all for her up until the rebellion and up until Harmony was presented to the court. He held her on a higher level than himself but when she disappeared to be frank he felt betrayed, the only gem he believed was good and was Perfect just turned around on almost everything, and from that point he became bitter and lost respect for everyone else around him until he became Who he is currently a Narcissistic jerk. Also there is a whole load of stuff I could take about Turquoise's identity and his relationship with other Turquoise's but for right now I want to wait to go into that in more detail later when I can just dedicate one thing to his entire story rather than a brief description right here

Pearl :

I kind of thought with him is that maybe since he become more distant with Harmony since he still more or less saw her as a diamond and thus doesn't have as much as a strong relationship with harmony as he did with Gold. I kind of headcanoned a sort of thing is that all the mothers handled Gold being gone in a different way for example Rose Gold Pearl attaching to Harmony and being very protective over her I feel that Pearl, became very confused not knowing what to do without commands from His diamond, although instead of becoming more independent with out the control of his diamond he just became more dependent on Commands from Harmony, Serving her like A Diamond, doing what she told him to do to please her without considering if it would really be best for her or if it was entirely safe. He often takes to following Harmony around like he used to do with Rose Gold This makes Pearl still a parental figure and supporter of Harmony but still more in servitude to her rather than someone with power to influence her.

Rose Spinel:

Rose Spinel doesn't have much a deep or large part of her identity linked to Rose Gold or Harmony since she just saw her has more of nice friend to hang out with rather than a ruler. Which is why largely she didn't really change much between the Per and Post Harmony Era's. She does like Harmony better than Rose Gold since she seems more genuinely interested in her tricks and stunts rather than sometimes being brushed off by her diamond when she is will her significant other, Spinel sees that she can genuinely make Harmony's day and that makes her very happy! She likes how Harmony seems to see all gems as equal even Permafusions and In Spinel's eyes it made the court seem much more happy and positive not to say that it wasn't before she remarks that seeing everyone happy and smiling makes her feel very happy to see.
