Description
Finally got the final version done And in all honesty I love this one it took me forever to make this was one of the hardest arts Ive done in ages. All those little details like the 2 pidgeons and the deer, the light rays and the lighting on the rider and horse where a pain. I hope London does well in the competition.

Story:
Part 3 of 3

The sun was very slowly sinking and the sky was turning a pretty shade of pinkish orange, there were some little birds flying around and there was a warm breeze when they arrived at the start. They were the first couple to start yet again and this made Cookie even more nervous. She had wished that there were some combinations before them so she could see where the hard parts of the course where. This course was a little different from the one they had been practicing and Cookie saw it included water, something London disliked. She realized there was nothing she could do to change it. So she pushed London in a canter and then in a gallop. The first few obstacles London behaved perfectly, even though Cookie felt he was still responding to her nerves. She tried to calm herself and with that London as well, but it was already too late.
London leaped over a tree trunk and then they made a really sharp turn for another tree trunk, London made both jumps but was brought off balance by the sudden sharp turn. His landing was rough enough to get Cookie launched out of the saddle, she managed to stay on pulling the reigns for a little bit but then fell. Her foot was stuck but luckily got loose before she hit the ground, else she had definitely broken her ankle. She lay there very still for a second and London who had stopped pushed his muzzle against her cheek. Slowly she got up, her ankle hurt but she did not want to give up so she got back onto the stallions back. "It is okay boy lets finish what we started." she whispered in his ear.

They managed to finish the course and even although they were a little slower than Cookie had wished for, she was happy they actually managed to finish at all. After she had taken care of London she went to the first aid post to get her ankle checked. It was not broken but it was still bruised badly. Her ankle got wrapped up by the medics and she got crotches to make sure she would not put too much pressure on the ankle until it had healed.

Laying in her room she thought back to the competition and actually was pleased that even though they had probably no chance in placing high, London had not spooked. The accident was not his fault, he was young and unexperienced and lost his balance. Something that could have had happened to any horse out there. Actually most horses had big problems in the exact same turn that Cookie had fallen off at. London had not panicked even while Cookie had hung with her full weight onto his reigns, the stallion had stayed calm and even checked if Cookie was okay instead of bolting off. No matter the results Cookie was proud of her boy, they had done the thing she had never thought was possible.
