"Zamani Reference Sheet"Medium: Pencil, Photoshop
Notes: A reference sheet for a new RP character, Zamani. She is an Asian Golden Cat. I did use reference for the image, but I took some freedom when it came to markings and such.
I like her cub version best. <3

Asian golden cats are beautiful, under appreciated felines!
This is excellent artwork. I always find cats to be the most difficult to draw -- but you capture the strong suppleness of a feline perfectly. AND captured their expressions. Good work!

They are. I was trying to find a species that was interesting - and not too difficult to design. It a choice between an Asian Golden cat or an Ocelot. I love both, but the golden cat won in the end. <3

Ohh, she's very pretty. I recently had a kitten that resembled her Cub design, too! Not the same colors, not even close- he was gray toned, but he had the rosettes and stripes. c: We put him up for adoption and he recently got himself a nice cozy homie with two other kittens. <3
