Oh dear, sorry. I guess I'd bought into a red & long haired Lily. A black & short haired Lily is really very cool and breaks the mold!

I wonder what her personality would be like. It's fun to think about.

Ah, yeah, sorry if I sounded rude in the previous comment!
True, I'm pretty sure that the majority of potterheads think of little Lily as a redhead. After reading "The Cursed Child" my own headcanon is that Albus has black hair like Harry, James has dark red hair like Ginny and Lily has short dark brown hair.
The only hair colour that they ever explained in the book was Ablus' hair so it's almost like a free ticket to choose how you think James and Lily look like.
If you want to know her personality then it's best that you read the book or I could tell you, since it's not some sort of spoiler but still.
