Once again, I am baffled by my own incredible creativity when it comes to deviation titles.Re-Animator is one of my favorite horror movies, and after re-watching it recently (and after reading Lovecraft's original short story for the first time) I felt like drawing good Dr. West. So I did, and because I've had such little time to color anything lately, I've been coloring this late at night for a few days.
It's fairly simple - no time for more elaborate things - but I hope you enjoy my tribute to a really cool film and a really crazy doctor

Thank you! Herbert West is really acting crazy and maniacal most of the time, I wanted to get a little more subtle vibe but I'm glad it got through

Oh yeah, I totally understand. That was actually one of the reasons that made me put off watching Bride of Re-animator for so long, but I surprisingly had fun, so I don't think it's a case of "bad sequel". I still haven't seen Beyond Re-animator though, so I don't know how good that one is. But yeah, give Bride of Re-Animator a chance

I read the Lovecraft story, but I never saw the movie! (I didn't know much about it, if anything, including its very existence...)
Freakishly good, and I like the green theme.

You should see the movie, it's a bit funnier than the story - I think because of the way the actor plays West, he's just so perfect and insane that you can't help but be sort of amused by his mania.
If you get to see the movie, you'll see a lot of green
