Of course I would like it, I just don't want people to feel that they have to be able to draw that particular hairstyle in order to draw my character. I'd be happy with any style.

People will be more likely to draw something that they can draw more closely to a reference in my experience.
References that lack important details like certain colours (mostly paws and tongue) or are vague like your hair or have hidden detail etc tend to make people a little less likely to go for it >w<
