Description
Here is a picture that I did of ALF in my original cartoon style. After watching reruns of "ALF" on TV not too long ago, I was definitely in the mood for drawing a picture of this character because of how much I've actually enjoyed the show since I was a kid. In case you've never heard of the show before, it is about a furry alien from the planet Melmac who ends up on Earth, and he is taken care of by a human family, the Tanners, after he crash-lands his spaceship into their garage. The alien's real name is Gordon Shumway, but the Tanners decide to call him 'ALF', which is an acronym for 'Alien Life Form'. ALF is soon treated like a member of the Tanner family, even though he does tend to annoy everyone with his crazy antics, especially when it comes to his habits of trying to eat the pet cat (since he actually eats cats back on his home planet). The show was quite a hit in the 1980s, and I still enjoy watching it to this day whenever I get the chance. As I was coloring this picture, I decided to use a starry sky background because of ALF being a character from outer space. The picture turned out really nice after being completed, and it's sure to please fans of the show as well.
