Here is a picture that I did of ALF in my original cartoon style. After watching reruns of "ALF" on TV not too long ago, I was definitely in the mood for drawing a picture of this character because of how much I've actually enjoyed the show since I was a kid. In case you've never heard of the show before, it is about a furry alien from the planet Melmac who ends up on Earth, and he is taken care of by a human family, the Tanners, after he crash-lands his spaceship into their garage. The alien's real name is Gordon Shumway, but the Tanners decide to call him 'ALF', which is an acronym for 'Alien Life Form'. ALF is soon treated like a member of the Tanner family, even though he does tend to annoy everyone with his crazy antics, especially when it comes to his habits of trying to eat the pet cat (since he actually eats cats back on his home planet). The show was quite a hit in the 1980s, and I still enjoy watching it to this day whenever I get the chance. As I was coloring this picture, I decided to use a starry sky background because of ALF being a character from outer space. The picture turned out really nice after being completed, and it's sure to please fans of the show as well.ALF (c) Alien Productions

That's very nice and cool to know, and I actually do remember the "ALF" cartoon series that also aired on TVΒ when I was a kid, though it's been so long that I don't remember any particular episodes that I've seen, but I do remember that he was always seen wearing a yellow Hawaiian shirt in the cartoons for sure.

I really love this drawing as somebody who draws Alf a lot in her own style but this is beautiful and love the background ad it sets the vibe that he's from outer space

Yes as it's beautiful and fits him since he missed Melmac but he loves the Tanners very much but hope he gets to be with them in Spny's movie for him as he needs to see them

Well it's true because it is beautiful plus he looks so cute, you just wanna scoop him onto your lap and give him a hug or just touch his fur since I imagine it's very soft but messy since he runs around a lot.
Yeah now I have an idea for a sketch about giving him a hug since I get warm feels watching the sitcom.

Yes Sony Animation Pictures are making a movie for him and it's by the producer of the Smurfs movies.
I love the idea of him staying on Earth so hope that he stays in the new movie.

Yes since q lot of fans don't like Project Alf so hopefully the new movie will be better and have him on Earth and the Tanners kids are adults by one so Alf could live with one of them and befriend their kids.
Oh he will since he'll look just as adorable, loveable and huggable as he is on the sitcom and have his sweet but snippy wit since in Projrct Alf, he was very grumpy

I love the show and watch uncut eps on YouTube but ALF's antics make me laugh like him in a dress or cutting down a Christmas tree.
I love drawing him in manga style and make up funny comics about him.

Believe it or not, I never watched Alf as a kid and I was born in the Eighties but I used to watch Project ALF as a teen
I now love the sitcom since getting into it a few months ago and draw comics about him and write stories about him

Yes I never watched the show as a child but after seeing the part Where he blew up the oven which made me bust a gut laughing and then watched the pilot and the animated series.
Now I can't get enough of the little guy.
You might like Project Alf but the Alien Task Force were mean to him like testing on him

Yeah, one of my favorite funny moments involving ALF that I definitely remember seeing as a kid is where he puts out the gag candles on a birthday cake by pouring a glass of water all over the cake!

I wasn't into the show so much but you sure did a good job of capturing him my friend *noddles*, even down to his funny, almost elephant nose... A very good job indeedy and one of the brightest things so far I've seen today with how clear and vibrant your colors are *purrs*

Awww, well I think you did your childhood memory a good service here. My cousin had a plushie of ALF, I remember it even now... and your work reminds me of the plushie but a lot more vibrant and colorful and I do love vibrant and colorful! *giggles* so well done my dear friend
