Description
Here is a picture that I did of Amber Chipmunk listening to some vinyl records on a record player that she bought. Amber happens to be a fan of many kinds of music, and she enjoys listening to it on every format, including vinyl and 8-track. She was able to get a job working at a store that sold music in many formats, and she decided to save up her money to get a record player and some records to play on it. This was another nice picture I did involving Amber's passion for music, and it was a perfect opportunity to draw her in socks once again.Related content

I once had a record player like that. It was stolen eventually by burglars who plundered the summer home while we were away until spring (winters were always unreasonably harsh !). Other things were stolen as well. After the third breakin (a second was unsuccessful, but a lock and 2 windows got damaged !) my mother never felt right about the place, and when my poor father died at 90, she sold the place.
I now use a 3-speed phonograph that looks like a 40's model. LOOKS. It has stereo and even plays CDs.

Records are my favorite format. CDs aren't that bad except so many reissues are alternate takes or remixed and don't sound like the original LP. Good picture by the way.

I know, but there actually are some places that sell vinyl records like new. In fact, I think I saw a vinyl copy of Weird Al Yankovic's latest album for sell the last time I was on Amazon.

This pic brings back memories of the Christmas before my grandfather passed away, when we bought him a CD Player/Audio Tape Deck/Turntable/Radio that'll play his collection of old 78 rpm records PLUS a CD collection of The Best of The Big Band Era (Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, Artie Shaw, etc.). Unfortunately, the player's only been used ONCE since he got it since he's been in and out of the hosital that year for stroke, and then he died on that November.
