Here is a picture that I did as a contest entry for my good friend Wolf492 : A picture of my original character, Jade Squirrel, spending the day with his original character, Merabelle Cat, by reading some books together. Because I wasn't too busy doing anything else at the time, I decided to take the opportunity to draw a picture as part of a contest that my friend is able to hold not too long ago, which involves drawing a picture of any original character(s) hanging out with Merabelle in some way, and I was in the mood for wanting to draw a picture featuring Jade after not being able to draw many pictures involving her without Whitnee. For this picture I've done, I was able to draw Jade and Merabelle spending the day together by reading some books at a library, since Merabelle happens to be a character who loves to read books all the time, and I'm able to imagine that Jade loves to read Japanese manga just like her sister while Merabelle prefers reading some classic material. When I was coloring the picture in, I was able to use a floral pattern for the wall in the background as well as dark brown carpeted texture for the flooring. The picture turned out very nice after being completed, and I just know that my friend will love it no matter what.
