Description
Here is a picture that I did of an anthropomorphic animal version of Jade from the "Mortal Kombat" video game series in my original cartoon style. Because I wasn't too busy doing anything else at the time, I was in the mood for wanting to draw some of my favorite characters from the "Mortal Kombat" games and how they would look if they were depicted as furry characters in my original style, especially since I've never actually been good at drawing humans for as long as I can remember, and I decided to take the opportunity to work on a picture featuring some of the other characters that actually made their debut in "Mortal Kombat II" as hidden opponents to fight such as Jade, who is a female assassin in green that serves as a bodyguard to Kitana while also being a close friend of hers since childhood. Like Smoke, Jade first became a playable character in "Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3", in which she happens to be quite skilled with a staff that she uses as a weapon to fight, and she's often portrayed as having a sarcastic and sassy personality when she made her appearance in the 2011 reboot version of "Mortal Kombat" (AKA "Mortal Kombat 9") for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Anyway, for this picture I've done, I was able to draw a simple picture of Jade posing with her staff while in a version of her green outfit that happens to be a unique combination of both outfits that she was seen wearing in the first two games that she appeared in, and the type of animal that she is seen portrayed as would be a cat because of it being the very first animal that came to mind for such a character (other than the fact that she actually transforms into a cat for her Animality in "Mortal Kombat Trilogy"), especially with the tan-colored fur that matches perfectly with Jade's tan appearance. When I was coloring the picture in, I was able to use a hot pink texture for the background, and I decided to fill up much of the empty space by adding yellow stars in different sizes. The picture turned out very nice after being completed, and it's sure to please my friends and everyone else as well.
