Here is a picture that did of Jowee and Mari, who are the main characters from the video game "Drawn To Life" on the Nintendo DS. I was actually in the mood for drawing both of these characters in my original cartoon style after I completed the game's sequel "Drawn To Life: The Next Chapter" not too long ago, especially because I think it is such a great game series to play on the Nintendo DS. In case anybody doesn't know what the series is all about, the games take place in a fictional world that is inhabited by rabbit-like creatures called Raposas (although some people claim they're actually supposed to be foxes, I'm not really sure). The player is able to take control of The Creator, and you would create your own hero by drawing him with the Nintendo DS touch screen; As you played through the game, you are also able to create all kinds of other things to assist the hero by drawing them (hence the game's title). Not only did the games have innovative gameplay and solid platforming action, they also had a deep storyline with appealing characters; The endings to both games were so sad and touching that I nearly cried after finishing them. Anyway, as I was coloring this picture in, I couldn't decide what color to use for the background, so I decided to use a rainbow-colored texture. This picture I've done turned out very nice after being completed, and it's sure to please fans of the games as well.
