Here is a picture that I did of Master Splinter, the mutant rat sensei character from "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", in my original cartoon style. Because I wasn't too busy doing anything else at the time, I decided to take the opportunity to draw a picture that I would be able to post as part of my weekly theme known as #TurtleTuesday (or #TMNTTuesday , which also works), and I was in the mood for wanting to draw a picture of Splinter after realizing that I haven't been able to draw him in my original cartoon style before, especially since he happens to be one of the most important characters in the TMNT franchise due to him being the one who taught the Ninja Turtles how to fight and use their ninja skills to help others, and he also has quite an interesting origin story depending on the version of the franchise - In the original Mirage Studios comics series that was released in 1984, Splinter was the pet rat of ninja master Hamato Yoshi, who was killed at the hands of his arch-rival Oroku Saki (AKA The Shredder), resulting in Splinter being forced to live in the sewers after losing his home and master, and he able to find the four baby turtles covered in the mutagen ooze that caused them as well as Splinter to mutate into their humanoid forms, which was even adapted in the 1990 live-action movie as well as the 2003 TMNT cartoon series. In the 1987 TMNT cartoon series, however, Splinter and Hamato Yoshi were actually the same person, since Yoshi was mutated into a rat after being exposed to same mutagen ooze that transformed the Turtles into their humanoid forms, and this particular verison of Splinter's origin was even adapted in the 2012 TMNT cartoon series as well. Anyway, for this picture I've done, I was able to draw a simple picture of Splinter based on his appearance from the original 1987 TMNT cartoon series, and he can be seen holding onto his walking stick that he uses as a weapon similarly to Donatello's bo staff when fighting bad guys such as Shredder. When I was coloring the picture in, I was able to use a green texture for the background, and I decided to fill up much of the empty space by adding yellow stars in different sizes. The picture turned out very nice after being completed, and it's sure to please my friends and everyone else as well.
