Description
Here is a picture that I did of Muckman and Joe Eyeball, a pair of garbage mutant heroes from "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", in my original cartoon style. Because I wasn't too busy doing anything else at the time, I decided to take the opportunity to work on a picture that I would be able to post as part of a weekly theme known as #TurtleTuesday (or #TMNTTuesday , which also works), and I was in the mood for wanting to draw a picture featuring Muckman and Joe Eyeball after having the characters on my mind recently. In case anyone is unfamiliar with both characters, Muckman and Joe Eyeball are a couple of mutants who were originally a pair of garbage men named Garson Grundge and Joe Junkay respectively, to which both men were exposed to some of Shredder's mutagen ooze after it was poured on them, and they end up mutating with Garson becoming a being of living garbage and Joe becoming a bug-eyed mutant that has a third eyeball for a tail; At first, they believed that the Ninja Turtles were the ones responsible for their mutation and act as their enemies, but when they learned that Shredder was the one who caused Garson and Joe to become mutants in the first place, they become friends and allies with the Ninja Turtles afterwards. Needless to say, Muckman and Joe Eyeball were first introduced as action figures from the original Playmates line of TMNT toys that were released during the early 1990s, to which they would eventually make their animated appearance in the 1987 TMNT cartoon series, and there was even an unique version of the duo in the 2012 TMNT cartoon series as well, except in the latter version of the series, Joe is actually Muckman's sentient eyeball that is able to talk to him while coming out of his eye socket. Anyway, for this picture I've done, I was able to draw a simple picture of Muckman and Joe Eyeball posing together in a way where they look like they're able to help the Ninja Turtles however they can, and both characters can be seen based on how they appeared in the original 1987 cartoon series complete with garbage can that Muckman is able to carry on his back with Joe riding in it. When I was coloring the picture in, I was able to use a dark purple texture for the background, and I decided to fill up much of the empty space by adding yellow stars in different sizes. The picture turned out very nice after being completed, and it's sure to please my friends and everyone else as well.
