Here is a picture that I did of Ren Hoek and Stimpy J. Cat, the main heroes and stars of the Nickelodeon cartoon series "The Ren & Stimpy Show". Because I wasn't too busy doing anything else at the time, I was in the mood for wanting to draw something completely random that was on mind, and I could not resist drawing Ren and Stimpy after having the show stuck on my mind recently after watching various episodes of the show on DVD not too long ago, especially since I enjoyed watching the show a lot on TV when I was a kid despite how gross and insane it was at times, but the show itself was also quite popular as it had spawned a bunch of merchandise such as toys, clothing, video games, etc. over the years, and I've always wanted to draw the titular characters in my original cartoon style for quite some time as well. Anyway, for this picture I've done, I was able to draw a simple picture of Ren and Stimpy on a stage setting together while looking quite proud of their fans who are able to enjoy their crazy antics and misadventures. When I was coloring the picture in, I was able to use a wooded texture for the flooring as well as a teal-colored texture resembling a stage curtain behind both characters, which I then added white sparkles to fill up some of the empty space. The picture turned out really nice after being completed, and it's sure to please my friends and everyone else as well.The Ren & Stimpy Show (c) John Kricfalusi / Nickelodeon

Yeah, I can totally relate to that, though the 1980s did have a couple of gross-out things that were introduced as well such as The Garbage Pail Kids, which were collectable sticker cards featuring bizarre and vulgar characters that were parodies of The Cabbage Patch Kids, and there are newer ones being produced to this very day (though I actually prefer Wacky Packages, which were made by the exact same company).

Yeah, it was quite demented for a cartoon show that aired on Nickelodeon, but I still loved it a lot every time it aired on TV.
As for "The Ren & Stimpy Adult Party Cartoon", not so much at all, since that version of the show was so disgusting and vulgar that it was too much, even for a guy like me who enjoyed watching "South Park" ever since I was in middle school.

Yeah, and it's definitely no surprise that the Adult Party Cartoon series ended up having an extremely short run as a result of its overly-gross humor intended for mature audiences, and even Billy West refused to voice Stimpy for that version of the show during its production as well.

Well, thank you for saying so, and I really hope that Ren and Stimpy become more kid-friendly like they did in the Nickelodeon cartoon series if they were to make a comeback, especially since "The Ren & Stimpy Adult Party Cartoon" (which was created for mature audiences) was way too gross and vulgar even for me after watching at least one episode of the series.

Yeah, I loved watching "The Ren & Stimpy Show" a lot on TV when I was a kid despite how often my dad tried to prevent me and my siblings from watching it.

Yeah, I can probably understand that, since most of the video games that Ren and Stimpy appeared in were published by THQ, though I've heard that "The Ren & Stimpy Show: Stimpy's Invention" on the Sega Genesis was fairly decent to play, since it was published by Sega and developed by Blue Sky Software (the same company that would go on to creating the Vectorman games, I might add).

Only good other good one was Nicktoons: Attack of the Toybots on Wii. You can play as Stimpy in that game.
Oh, and screw the creator of the show. He's a creep.

I've never heard of that game, but I do recall that Stimpy was a playable character in "Nicktoons Racing", which I remember playing on the Game Boy Advance at my younger cousin's house.
