Here is a comic strip that I did of my original character, Whitnee Squirrel, watching episodes of the 2003 cartoon version of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", to which she begins to reminisce about something that was missing when watching the show again. Because I wasn't too busy doing anything else at the time, I was in the mood for wanting to draw a comic strip based on an idea that I had on my mind after being able to work on a picture featuring the 2003 version of the Ninja Turtles in my original style recently, especially after realizing that the 2003 TMNT cartoon series happens to be the only version of the series that did not have the Ninja Turtles being able to eat pizza at all; This was because the 2003 cartoon series was heavily based on the original Mirage Studios comics that the franchise had originated from, and the Ninja Turtles' love for pizza was practically non-existent until after the 1987 cartoon series was created, in which the concept of the Ninja Turtles being able to eat pizza was so popular that it became a mainstay in everything else afterwards (just like with Sonic's love for chilidogs, I might add). Anyway, for this comic strip I've done, I was able to draw Whitnee watching TV while in her apartment, to which she begins to remember watching the 2003 TMNT cartoon series at a young age while trying to remember what the show was missing, and Whitnee's best friend, Amber Chipmunk, shows up with a box of pizza that she was able to bring home for them to eat for dinner, which turns out the be the one thing that was missing in the cartoon, causing Whitnee to figure it out in a clever way. When I was coloring the comic strip in, I was able to use a purple texture for the walls in the background for each panel as well as a dark purple carpeted texture for the flooring in the first panel. The comic strip turned out very nice after being completed, and it's sure to please my friends everyone else as well.
