Simply put Cooley....stunning. It came out amazing! What I love most of all, even more than the amazing coloring and effects, is the detail and thought you put into the symbolism. It's simply breathtaking!

Very awesome. The legs kind of bother me just because of the position, but the only thing I can suggest that be changed is the book, at first I thought it was something that was a part of his arms, and I really only noticed after I went back and read the description.
The image as a whole is very awesome, it has a very good symbolic and powerful presence. Though, the baby just sitting in the pelvis is really freaky looking, in a good way. P:
I also like how you tied the tribal esque 'aura' around him into the design, it flows very well with the design.
For some reason this reminds me of the song Porcelain Heart by Opeth... and out of curiosity is there any reason why you chose predominately bluish colors for this pic?

Insanely creepy. The little skull down by the pelvis actually made me think of infanticide 
The fact that it's chained makes me think of how Death awaits destruction because Christ defeated Death at the Cross.
And FANTASTIC detail. I can't say that enough.

As always this is such a beautiful picture. Ironicly, I'm playing FFX and it looks just like Anima, with the reverse body, the crossed arms, the chains and the sharpness of it all, so similar

One thing I would do, however, is change the overall background colour...
Blue gives me this feeling of vitality and peace...and the angel of death looks anything but peaceful XD
I think I'd have gone with red, or purple...or maybe even an unsaturated green...

Hmm, the background color was tough. I tried red, blue and purple, thought about green too, but finally settled on blue. It can be interpreted differently, but in a way, death can be peaceful (rest in peace) so I think the blue looks good. The red was definitely too cliche, too eye-burngingly saturated, haha. Thanks for your input!
