Ah! It inspired me to make eggies-in-a-basket too. Prior to that movie, I never had them before!

I find this piece very... Reassuring.
After long nights of reading depraved and prejudiced YouTube comments, it relaxes me to see a representation of God that is, well, relaxing.
. . . (I see no fire and brimstone in this!! )

Thanks. It's set in an area near where I live - it's really gorgeous there and peaceful.

As far as I know, even the angels can't look at Him, they have to cover their eyes. Sin dies before God, and a human couldn't ever look at Him.

Dude, this is awesome! I've never really thought mch about what God looks like, but I've just figured he'd be humanish. But this, whether you intended to or not, really makes me think. If God did look something like this, that'd be amazing

Thank you very much! I don't think anyone could do Him artistic justice, but it was enjoyable to try. The landscape in this image is real, and inspires me each time I drive by in autumn.

Absolutely beautiful. And I love V For Vendetta too. Have you ever read the graphic novel? I have both the movie and the comic.

I have the movie, but have not read the graphic novel.

Lots of ways in which they differ, but still plenty of key similarities. The graphic novel makes a bigger deal of V's particular brand of Anarchy, but essentially both movie and book share the same basic philosophy of hope and freedom.

This has been one of my all time favorite pieces of yours. It's been too long and I should have faved and commented before now (procrastinator I am.)
I love the colors, lighting, shading, and the misty effects. The patters and light swirling in the rain, the greens, oranges and yellow in the plants and leaves.
Also God here so breath taking, I love the play of light and pale blues, he has a wonderful design, interesting, benign, powerful and simply gorgeous on an other worldly way. I love the birds flying around neither concerned or shy from his massive form, but joyful and at peace.

I'm really glad you like this piece. It is one of my favorites too, b/c I based the landscape on an area I used to live near. Thank you for your in-depth comment.
