I don`t really understand why but this reminds me somewhat of the style of Edvard Munch(The Scream)!! Its very beautiful and very evocative of emotion. Its very very lovely..

Thank you for your comment! I considered using warm colors but to me, the blue color embodies the emotion of "sorrow" more than any other color. Because I was going to make a collection (each emotion being made of several varieties of one color), I was attempting to leave other colors open for other emotional use...hehe.

Most impressive. The colors meld together so excellently. It looks almost hypnotic. This is titled "Sorrow", but I see a Phoenix, rising again from crushing and utter dispair to live once more...

Thank you so much for stopping by! I'm glad you like it. This piece is part of a larger collection, however I've only been able to complete two because I don't have access to my supplies right now! Hopefully within next month I'll have some of my belongings shipped from Louisiana and I can continue.
