Description
I wish to give my characters more background info so that people can decide whether they like them, based on more than just looks. I did this a while ago with Nina, Sarah and I think Emily, but so much has changed since then that they no longer count!
Nina is the daughter of Lebanese immigrants. Her father died shortly after her birth, and her mother died when she was ten years old. She speaks a little Arabic and fluent English. She is officially Muslim but does not participate in any Muslim traditions or rules.
Nina is very skinny and flat chested with poportionally wide hips. She has bright pink hair and her eyes are also pink. Despite her Lebenese descent she is very pale, but still is recognizably arab.
Until the age of ten, Nina was a very reserved, shy and obediant girl. Her mother was strict and also rather cruel, and she had fallen into a depression since the death of Nina's father, and so had very little patience for her.
One day, Nina's mother suddenly brought Nina into their house's basement, where Nina was stripped naked and was forced to lie on the floor, where Nina's mother had drawn a ritual circle. She had plans to revive Nina's father by sacrificing Nina to the Devil, however she had no knolwedge of Demons and how they act. Since there was no way of containing the Demon prepared, Nina's mother had no control of the situation.
This particular Demon wasn't exactly kind, but it had a sense of justice, even for mortal humans. It felt that the terrified nude girl did not deserve death, but the woman who wished to sacrifice the girl certainly did. The Demon took the mother's soul and she is, for eternity, trapped in a deep pit of hell where all forms of torture are practiced on her.
All Demons wish to possess humans so they may walk the earth, and this Demon took its chance. It was able to take complete and utter control of Nina's body, and granted her all sorts of benefits which made her a powerful witch. The Demon decided to sit back and let Nina make all the decisions herself, but it plans to take control back of her at some point.
Nina took her mother's money and now amuses herself across America, by fighting or making friends. She loved her freedom and strength.
When Blake's agents began approaching her, at first in kinda manners but then slowly more aggressivly, she felt her freedom endangered, so she began gathering other witches she had found over the years around herself. Her Demon gave her a particular amount of power and freedom allowing her to seduce many girls into following and protecting her.
One day, Nina was with three of her closest friends in Chicago when Blake's agents attacked her. A witch, more powerful than even Nina, easily took her hostage.
Nina is currently wrapped in a tight, painful cocoon of ribbons that suck out all of her excess energy; any energy she posesses that she doesnt need to breathe or pump blood is robbed instantly. It is impossible for Nina to escape by herself.
Her Demon is still staying in the background, allowing this to happen. Perhaps it thinks that the ribbons would take it's raw energy too. At the same time, Nina's followers are trying to come up with a way to get her back.
Nina is strong willed and her most important wish is her own freedom. She is a point of interest for many people due to the potentially catastrophic power she holds, but she resists all approaches violently, leading to the attacks on herself and her followers.
