The "Squid's Martial Prowess" company is a boxing and wrestling focused profit based firm founded by Rania Fishhook. SMP holds many competitions, tournements, seasons etc of female and mixed boxing and wrestling in multiple different themes.
SMP became popular through two mixed fighting style tournments in the summer of 2018, the first smaller one featuring 16 fighters and the second one 32 called "Rania's OC tournies" or more commonly called "Squid's Wrestling Tournies". Even if the second tournement got cancled only about a quarter of the way through, due to the SMP company's sole artist (the aforementioned Squid) being unable to find the time or energy to actually make the fights real, a good amount of fights got released anyway and made SMP and Rania rich.
After that Rania had some special fights against other OCs, which were called "Rania vs the world", and there was also a short season of tag team boxing matches.
The SMP's next project is the Squid's Martial Prowess Competition. The first thing under SMP to actually be named after the company, the SMP competition is focused on the state of Thuringia, Germany, of finding the best under 17s intergender boxer in the state. The very specific choice of this state is due to Thuringia funding the american company to help promote sports amongst the youth and other weak excuses.
The above image is a promotional image. The two girls in the photo weren't really fighting for that belt. But they DID fight, and the fight was one sided, in one of SMPs non-promoted matches, and Rania gave the winner a bit of money to hold that belt while sitting next to the loser long enough for that photo to be taken.
The SMPC will NOT be an OC tourney, as the SMP's artist, Squid, doesnt have the time or energy for that, again. What will be happening is that Rania and her agents will find a number of boys and girls who are interested in boxing and 17 or younger to particapte in the SMPC. When a number has been found, each boy will fight each girl (and vice versa) once, and the gender with the most wins, wins. Then, the members of the winning genders will compete with each other until a single champ is found!
