So I wanted to give this a try and chose Animal as my first prompt.

I decided to draw a semi-realistic pic of Angel, my new calico kitten!

I had to put my cat, Sandy, down last Monday, due to extreme high levels of kidney failure. It really broke my heart and not only was I crying when I got the news on the phone, but so did my Mom and Grandma.

I asked them if I should have Sandy put down, or just go ahead and get her the medications for the problem. They both agreed that it was best to put my cat of 14 years down to end her suffering.

It was really hard, but I knew it had to be done. I was down for two days until Wednesday at around noonish, I got a text from Mom, asking if I wanted a kitten! Turned out that someone wanted to give it away, or the person who found the kittens in the countryside would have them drowned! (How horrible and stupid can you be to do that!?)

We went to my Mom's friend's house, a breeder of Min Pins, where I saw the tiny puffball of cuteness.... A tiny 7-8 week old calico, fluffy fur and blue-grey eyes! The moment I picked her up, I was all smiles and just cuddled her, held her close and gently stroked her fur, while she purred happily in content.

I gave her the name Angel, and it's been a whole week since I adopted her. She's a little hellion and demon when it comes to finding trouble, getting into things and running around the apartment! But she's a real sweetheart, feisty, lovable, curious and just loves the attention and cuddles! She seems to like curling up under my chin anytime I play video games or on my small bin of mechanical pencils, erasers and pens, neatly tucked in the pencil cases (Fabric) for a nap.

Don't ask me why she does that last part though! Last night she just discovered how to climb up onto my bed and just picked a spot to lay on for her sleep! XD

I tried my best on this and I apologize for not posting more on here lately! I've been hooked on Animal Crossing: New Horizons and there's not much to do here except tend to my kitten and chores.

I want to try and keep posting fan art on here, but I do have real life situations to tackle, but since I'm off work at the aquarium until further notice, I have some time to do things, so I'll try and put art on the top of my list!
